ENERGY CONE TECHNIQUE
The Energy Cone Technique is unique because of the speed and ease with which it brings emotions and negativities to the awareness of both "client" and clinician. These realisations are subsequently removed with the intention of the conscious mind. ECT is non invasive, non intrusive, and may be used as a completely confidential technique. There is no necessity for either the therapist or the client to know details of the trauma in order to effectively release it from the system.
The Energy Cone Technique focuses on the discovery of Energy Cysts, or Cones, predominantly in the palms of the hands and the dispersal and elimination of that trapped energy in, through and out of the energy body. It can be applied to consciously acknowledged problems, but more often than not it is applied to the unknown and unacknowledged issues that lie beneath all manner of our problems from stress, distress, self esteem issues, phobias and traumas, and much more besides.
The Energy Cone Technique is a beautifully simple technique to learn and practice because it is entirely natural, following the direct evidence of physiological feedback. It is an experientially based system for you to develop your natural skills. It may also be used as a self help tool.
The Energy Cone Technique may be used alone, or in conjunction with other techniques.

EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE
Often the first introduction into Energy Psychology and Meridian Energy Therapies
EFT is a simple, non-invasive meridian based technique for releasing the underlying energy that causes negative emotions. This remarkable technique was developed by Gary Craig who states that "the cause of all negative emotion is a disruption in the body's energy system".
The procedures used in EFT help to balance the system, releasing, removing, or easing disturbances or emotional blocks to this energy flow.
Where acupuncture uses needles to stimulate and unblock the channels EFT uses a system of tapping with the fingers on 13 specific meridian points on the face, hands and upper body whilst using statements and affirmations relating to and directly focussing on the issue being addressed. The process enables clients to work rapidly through layers of emotions, beliefs and memories to locate the root cause of their issues.
During the first session clients are taught the technique for self- empowerment, enabling each individual to take charge of their own on-going well-being. EFT is a wonderful self-help tool, which, once learned has a myriad of applications.

EMOTRANCE
Through EmoTrance (developed by Sylvia Hartmann, PhD) we understand that everything is energy, that everything we experience comes into our being as energy first. We understand that whether we have an enriching or stressful response to life's events depends purely on how our energy system handles the incoming energy .... the looks, the comments, the impact of events.
When we don't handle energy well, we feel that build up of pressure in the chest, head, stomach accompanying the emotion of stress. We connect with these disturbances each time we recall the distressing incident.
With ET you will be asked, "Where do you feel that in your body?" and with your thoughts and intention this energy will flow through and out so that when we return to the original thought there will be no more distress, rather, a new clarity and understanding which was not accessible when we were in our previous emotional state. We realise that emotions are merely the feedback devices, the symptoms of blockages and disturbances in the body's subtle energy system.

TAPAS ACUPRESSURE TECHNIQUE
TAT is a wonderful process for ending traumatic stress, reducing allergic reactions and freeing yourself of negative beliefs. TAT is a simple technique that delivers inner peace, relaxation, more vibrant health and empowerment in minutes.
Tapas Acupressure Technique was developed in the 1990's in America by acupuncturist Tapas Fleming.
Tapas trained as a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her initial interest was in the treatment of allergies. She developed her own distinctive methods using TAT to alleviate allergies and sensitivities. As she worked more and more with the technique she was influenced by other leading innovators in the field of energy therapy, which led her to expand the technique.
TAT is currently used by The Mexican Association for Crisis Therapy with groups of people who have experienced the trauma of natural disasters, in groups of 2 -200, men, women and children, and generally take place out in the open air in Mexico.
TAT is a very simple technique. The fingers are placed on or over certain acupressure points. Whilst the person is holding this posture they are guided to place their attention on a series of thoughts related to the problem. No analysis is required, only feedback, this is a very person centred approach. It is very gentle and is ideal for use with children.
