An Evening with Tom Wynn
Tina’s Testimonial

It’s the end of July already! I feel inclined to apologise for the delay in sending out this newsletter but I really wanted to give you news of Tom Wynn’s Energy Cone Technique Workshop as soon after the event as possible. I’m happy to announce that it was a fabulous experience, as you will see from the comments of participants that follow.

Tom stayed over until Thursday for a well-earned rest and taking in the sights of the local area. Funny isn’t it, how we sometimes forget to appreciate the beauty on our doorstep until we have reason to show it to someone else? Although we are frequent visitors to the Dukeries, Clumber Park and Sherwood Forest, which are literally two minutes down the road, I could hardly believe that it’s at least five years since I last visited the Japanese Garden only 15 miles away. How can that be? The feeling of tranquillity mixed with the sheer delight of being amongst those shapes, colours and textures is something I will remind myself to indulge in more frequently from now on.

It was wonderful to be there again, but really, we need only to open our eyes, bring our awareness to the here and now, looking at the world afresh, as if through the eyes of a child, to appreciate the wonders of living in the abundance of the Universe. Go on, take a moment, be in the now, look around, feel what its like to be alive, and let the energy flow.

The day after Tom’s departure I went straight off to a weekend residential to complete my own training in Person Centred Art Therapy Skills. Phew! The assessments are over, the certificate is in the bag and time now to fill you in on what’s been happening around here…

Until next time, live in your abundance, enjoy love, light and happiness

“Fan fizzin tastic” – that’s how the man himself described The Energy Cone Technique Presentation and Workshop!

And comments from some of the participants:

“Gobsmacking – Amazingly simple, yet amazingly effective.”

“ It knocked me for six.”

“Intriguing.”

“Thank you for a wonderful day, boy was I tired!!!!! Loved meeting Tom, the best hugs ever!!”

“Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity, it was absolutely wonderful. The arrangements were wonderful, everything was wonderful, and what a lovely guy.”

“I really enjoyed the workshop and I feel different after the experience (much better and more confident!!)”

Thank you Tom Wynn, for a fabulous workshop demonstrating this amazing Meridian Therapy technique. Every one from the open minded and willing, to the cautious and sceptical were impressed and delighted by the profound releases and changes that occurred. How can something that simple be so hugely effective?

There were tears, laughter, sighs of apprehension, and of relief. I feel it is safe to say that everyone experienced change in varying degrees, from the subtle to the downright earth shattering. (To read of Derek’s experience click here).

The workshop was fully subscribed, and we were delighted to welcome Steve Collins of the AMT, who travelled up from Eastbourne to be with us. Thank you so much for your support. Read Steve’s report at www.theamt.com

It has been my pleasure to facilitate, and co present this unique experience, and I am delighted to inform you that Tom will be back here in Nottinghamshire to give a repeat performance on Bank Holiday Monday, 28th August. We did it!

Walked up hill and down dale in the Derbyshire Peak District for 10 miles to raise funds for Breast Cancer Care. Didn’t get to wear the bright pink t shirts though, they were reserved for those gallant beings who undertook the 20 mile route. Never mind, maybe next year.

A showery start gave way to sunshine over the beautiful landscape, well, we did order it! I basked in the energy and company of my beautiful daughter, and a pleasant time was had by all.

As we hit the finishing line and were handed our medals a representative of Woman and Home magazine took pictures and asked why we had undertaken the walk. Our response was, “Just because………. We are women, and mother and daughter, (a good bonding exercise), and it’s for a brilliant cause”.

On reflection I realise that as we walked I recalled the memory of a wonderful woman I am honoured to have called my friend. Her humour and compassion touched the lives of so many people, until she lost her own life to breast cancer eight years ago.

So many people have similar tales to tell of their amazingly special friends, associates, and family members whose lives have been touched by breast cancer, though thankfully, we also know of others who have survived to live normal, happy lives. We each have our own stories, which, I guess is why 1200 individuals made that walk last Saturday.

Thanks to you all who contributed, and sponsored both Laura and myself as I raise a glass to everyone who took part, and, in memory of my friend and guiding star. To Jill, may God bless you x

Beautiful People

Though you would like to share this. I received it from a friend for “Beautiful Woman Month” – I’ve extended this because I feel the sentiments are fitting for all everyone.

Below is a wonderful poem Audrey Hepburn wrote when asked to share her "beauty tips." It was read at her funeral years later.

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.

For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.

For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.

For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.

For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.

People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone.

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms.

As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.

How lovely is that?

I am always inviting people to share their Meridian Therapy experiences whether they occur as a client or in training sessions: here’s one we received recently from Tina at Dance with your Inner Diva. How’s that for a fab business name? www.divadom.co.uk

“Early this year I decided I needed a spring clean of my soul, and to really get in those hard-to-reach corners, I went to see the very lovely Sally Canning who guided me through letting go of some emotional pain (to do with my maternal heritage) that had been hanging around for a very long time; pain which I could not shift with my usual NLP and time line therapy techniques. All I can say is that it was amazing; the process didn't seem very impactful at the time, two days later I felt incredibly well, happy and joyful right through to my bones. And I still do.

Recently I returned to Sally for another clear out on my blocks to abundance and again a few days after our session I found myself feeling so certain and so determined, that I committed myself to a speaking engagement a year from now; a commitment that means I must be truly abundant over the next year if I am to claim my space on that platform. I know I'll be there!” Thanks to Meridian Energy Therapies.
