Tom Wynn's Energy Cone Therapy Technique

EUREKA!!!
(A Greek exclamation for "I have found it")
I have been on quest since 1998, looking for something unique and special in the therapeutic field, something fast, friendly and final.

Tom Wynn: Certified Practitioner of Cranio-Sacral Therapy, The Bowen Technique, The Metamorphic Technique, Applied Physiology, Manual Lymph Drainage, and Indian Head Massage.

Diploma in Past Life Regression Therapy, and am certified to teach TAT, EFT, PLRT, and Hypnotherapy. Reiki Master.

Each of these is a wonderful therapy, they bring amazing healing to the Universe. However, I felt there was more, and I believe I have stumbled across it. I used to call it "Fingerpoint", but the technique has developed so far beyond the original protocol that a new, more apt title was needed to describe this far greater application. It is now called "Energy Cone Therapy Technique".

The Energy Cone Technique can instantly access and resolve emotional and/or physical blockages, which exist in the body. Energy cones are found throughout the body, everywhere, on the hand, head, legs, arms and trunk. Gently palpating an area elicits feelings, images and/or memories stored in the body. The client can then choose to share these experiences with the practitioner, or not. As energy is released from the cysts relaxation ensues, becoming progressively deeper. The deepest emotions can be accessed, often in an instant, and can be healed, quickly, easily and permanently.

With this new work, lessons are realised, choice returned, forgiveness experienced, and new horizons are opened. This easily mastered technique is a delight to use in practice.

The purpose of the workshop is threefold:
1. To teach the technique
2. Have all participants experience receiving and giving healings
3. Learn.

The History of Energy Cone Therapy

I went to sea in 1956 as a deep-sea Radio-Officer. I was 24 and had too much time on my hands. I bought a book on palmistry to while the long voyages away. I studied, practiced and became quite good at giving readings. Subsequently, when in port, we went to the nearest trendy pub, and while I read palms, we were treated like VIP's. Everyone had a wonderful time. However, I stopped the readings when I realised that, increasingly, "clients" believed what I said, implicitly. They wanted advice on really important issues, life-changing decisions. Fortunately it coincided with the end of a voyage, and a posting to another ship. The cycle was broken. I left the sea in 1959.

When I started playing bridge in 1995 elements of palmistry became helpful in judging the opposition. The hands showed the cautious, the intuitive, the by-the-book player, the gambler etc. so I started reading palms again, - for fun.

I have been an avid student of alternative practices since before my wife died of cancer in 1992. When conventional medicine failed, in desperation she sought relief elsewhere. We tried everything available at the time, in vain.

I became a hypnotherapist in 1998. I continued my studies, especially the "cutting edge" meridian energy therapies, and seven hands-on therapies. All these therapies/techniques gave me a "feeling" for the energies that make up the body. I am also a certified trainer of hypnotherapy, EFT and TAT, I am also a Reiki Master.

As a member of ICHP, MMTA, ACST,ECBS, IAAMT, and BTTI I have fulfilled all Post Graduate training requirements and have attended a multitude of workshops on amazingly diverse aspects of human condition, including spirituality, given by the world's top names: Callaghan, Craig, Yapko, Bannister, Nims, Brooks, Howard, Bandler, McKenna, Bodenheimer etc.

At the First International Energy Conference, in Lucerne, Switzerland, in August 2001, I read a lady's palm one evening. As I surveyed the hand I was not sure that a spot on the palm was part of the palm, or an ink stain. I dampened my finger and rubbed the spot to see if it would shift. I was astonished at the reaction. A huge surge of emotion flooded her body. At exactly the same instant I could feel a "volcano" of energy erupt under the "rubbing" finger. Also, at the same instant she put her hand on her solar plexus, and held it there. I knew how to handle abreactions so let the feeling dissipate. As the feelings left her body, the "throb" in her palm under my finger diminished, finally ceasing altogether. The hand on her solar plexus relaxed and fell away. It was obvious that a huge emotional release had taken place. I deliberately put my finger on another spot on her palm and was amazed to have the same thing happen, - again and again. Each time I moved my finger about her palm, she also moved her other hand to different areas of her body, to where the energy of emotions was stored.

She became so relaxed that she almost fell asleep. As this was a known "uptight" lady other people became curious. They wanted to try it out, to "have a go". It was incredible.

That was the start of Energy Cone Therapy. There have been many new discoveries since that time. With my background and training in Cranio Sacral work my understanding of the "why's and wherefores" has expanded and deepened, and the connections have been made.

I now use the ECT as my technique of first choice, with great success. I even use it before any hands-on plinth work with startlingly good results.

In May and November 2003 I helped organise two workshops in Dublin for a wonderful psychic lady from New York, called Elaine Woodall. I used the ECT with her. She was so impressed that she insisted that I present it at the ACEP (Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology) International conference in the USA. I did not take her urging seriously at the time. However, I went to the First TAT International energy conference in Yorkshire, England in September 2004 and presented my technique at a break-out session. The effect was sensational. This encouraged me to consider Elaine's suggestion. I was also aided in this endeavour by Gloria Arenson, past president of ACEP.

My participation in the 2006 ACEP Conference in San Francisco received the most marvellous reception. I'm delighted to say that Energy Cone Therapy "went down a storm".

The therapy has progressed from the simple finger in the palm to undreamed of levels of sophistication.
