The Association of Meridian Energy Therapies Trainer’s Training

What does becoming an AMT Trainer involve?

As a Trainer of Meridian Energy Therapies and representative of the AMT you are in the privileged position of training and licensing new and Advanced MET practitioners, and running AMT Certified Introductory Workshops.  As a public ambassador of Energy Psychology it is important to maintain a highly professional standard of teaching and practice.  You are one of a small prestigious team who are able to train practitioners in this rapidly growing and field.

AMT Trainer requirements

1. A depth and breadth of professional qualifications – an AMT certificate in Meridian Energy Therapies at Advanced Practitioner level

2. Sufficient practical experience thorough working knowledge of the techniques.  - At least 6 months experience at Advanced Practitioner level

3. A full practitioner certificate in at least two of the other Meridian Energy Therapies ie, EmoTrance, TAT, BSFF

4. To show through your CV, extensive practical experience and skills in course/workshop facilitation

5.  An AMT trainer is someone who is passionate about Energy Psychology and able to show commitment to personal development through MET’s, can relate personal examples of growth and learning through application of the tools, and is considered by their referee to conduct themselves in a manner that is congruent with an MET Trainer.

To Apply for Training Status

Once essential qualifications and experience have been acquired, you may apply to become a trainer, enclosing your CV, which should indicate how you meet the above criteria. Please also provide two references (one of which should be from an AMT trainer), and a letter stating why you would be a good ambassador for the field.  Payment should also be included and will be processed once acceptance onto the Training has been finalised.

About the Trainings

The one-day MET’s Trainers’ Training provides the format, materials and support for structuring and delivering the AMT courses, i.e. EFT/MET Practitioner and Advanced Practitioner. “Training skills” are a pre requisite of the course.
